When you’re ready for some romantic time, or just some quiet time, look to Branson’s own Stone Hill Winery. Stone Hill Winery is the perfect destination to warm up the soul and enjoy fine wine. Established in 1847, Stone Hill grew to be the second largest winery in the U.S., and was world renowned, winning gold medals in eight World’s Fairs. However, because of Prohibition, Stone Hill was defunct until it was restored and reopened in 1965. Once again, it’s receiving international acclaim, winning more than 3,400 awards since 1993. Visitors to the Branson facility can embark on a step-by-step wine-making tour, purchase and taste wines, or just sit and relax. If you’re lucky, you just might get to see Santa helping the process, but don’t tell the kids!
